The Compliance and Business Process Manager evaluates, designs, executes, measures, monitors and controls compliance and business processes of the organization. As compliance manager is knowledgeable in information security process and policies including HIPAA, ISO, internal and external IT audits, and overall IT security protections and measures. This position ensures that the security framework, business processes and posture of Certify Global systems meets standard regulatory guidelines and policies. The ISCD provides technical expertise in testing these policies against the Certify Global systems and advises on areas of opportunity. This position is responsible for maintain the enterprise Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) and drive best practices on risk reduction strategies. CBPM will lead a governance program based on standards and policies, monitoring security compliance and regulatory information, and manage risk metrics for reporting and leading the overall management of the Certify Global ISMS.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor ‘s degree in relevant field; may substitute degree with other field of study and relevant work experience.
• Industry certifications in information security, compliance, auditing with the following certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, CISA, and CEH.
• 2-4 years of experience working with Security Audits including documenting processes, creating flowcharts and assessing the design and operating effectiveness of controls.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for verifying implementation, and assists Certify Global management in adhering to information security policies and procedures for securing information systems.
• Develops, executes, and maintains business process improvement projects.

The Executive Assistant will provide general administrative support to CERTIFY management and staff. He/she will oversee the daily operations of administrative functions in the main office, and help to ensure customers receive timely services of the highest quality.  The EA opportunity is available for either part-time or full-time (Monday through Friday, 20-30 hours for part time and 40 hours for full time) and is located in Potomac, MD.

Marketing Intern

CERTIFY® is seeking a marketing intern who is creative, dynamic, a self-starter and eager to assist in our marketing efforts. This internship is an excellent opportunity to experience various aspects of marketing while working with a leader in biometric authentication.

The intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment, and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of marketing. You will be collaborating with highly diverse team members within the company to help implement marketing campaigns.  Interns are able to develop experience and skills that could prove advantageous in seeking future career opportunities in marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with implementing marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling sales forecasts
  • Contribute to marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives
  • Plan and organize promotional presentations and updating calendars
  • Help to prepare marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data
  • Keep promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with management
  • Support sales staff by helping to provide market trends, forecasts, and new product information
  • Research competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics
  • Plan meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading trade publications
  • Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Work closely to assist in marketing materials for public relations
  • Assist with organization of photos, photo opportunities and events
  • Aid in media relations, including researching and scheduling interviews
  • Travel to various locations to support business needs
  • Regularly update social media posts and write blog articles
  • Compile and format briefing materials
