The Regional Vice President of Healthcare Sales (RVPHS) is responsible for generating new business sales in their designated geographic territory, helping grow CERTIFY’s client base in designated regions throughout the United States.  U.S. Territories include: Great Lakes, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, New England, Pacific Northwest, Southeast, Southwest, and West.  As the head of their region, the RVPHS will excel at relationship development, and will anticipate client needs within the healthcare space. They will travel their region and generate profitable revenue by securing potential clients. They’ll need a solid understanding of CERTIFY platform offerings and growth opportunities, which requires a sharp learner who is quick on their feet to master. Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree from an accredited institution
  • 2 years’ experience selling HCIT solutions into hospitals, health systems, and/or physician offices

Executive Administrative Assistant

This EA will be an extension of the CEO position, partnering and assisting throughout daily operations and actions. The Executive Assistant will provide general administrative support to CERTIFY management and staff. He/she will oversee the daily operations of administrative functions in the main office, and help to ensure customers receive timely services of the highest quality.  The EA opportunity is available for either part-time or full-time (Monday through Friday, 20-30 hours for part time and 40 hours for full time) and is located in Potomac, MD.

Responsibilities:

Director, Information Security and Compliance

The Information Security & Compliance Director (ISCD) reports to the President and is knowledgeable in information security process and policies including HIPAA, ISO, internal and external IT audits, and overall IT security protections and measures. This position ensures that the security framework and posture of Certify Global systems meets standard regulatory guidelines and policies. The ISCD provides technical expertise in testing these policies against the Certify Global systems and advises on areas of opportunity. This position is responsible for maintaining the enterprise Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) and drive best practices on risk reduction strategies. The ISCD will lead a governance program based on standards and policies, monitoring security compliance and regulatory information, and manage risk metrics for reporting and leading the overall management of the Certify Global ISMS.

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of information security, systems administration, and network administration.

* Bachelor ‘s degree in relevant field; may substitute degree with other field of study and relevant work experience.

* Industry certifications in information security, networking, and operating system management with the following certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, CISA, and CEH.

* 2-4 years of experience working with Security Audits including documenting processes, creating flowcharts and assessing the design and operating effectiveness of controls.

* 2-4 years of experience performing risk based audits including risk assessment, identifying and testing key controls.

* Knowledge/experience working with IT systems and IT networks.

* Experience with ISO, PCI, HIPPA, NIST and/or HITRUST a plus.

* Excellent oral, written, and social communication skills and the ability to communicate security and risk-related concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for verifying implementation, and assists Certify Global management in adhering to information security policies and procedures for securing information systems.

* Ensures that all Information Systems are operated and maintained in accordance with security policies and practices outlined in Certify Global’s Information Security Management Systems, including adherence to HIPAA, ISO, and other regulatory entities.

* Verifies that system policies, procedures, and security requirements are complied with by all staff and vendors during all phases of the security lifecycle.

* Develop reports and ensure their review, and make them available, as required, to executive management, auditors, and clients.

* Develop, maintain and publish corporate information security standards, procedures and guidelines and contribute to the design, implementation or continual improvement of programs focused on user awareness, compliance monitoring, and information security.

* Works closely with the CTO, development team, project team and leadership to perform the required duties as defined.

* Respond to incidents and manage relationship with outside security vendors for penetration testing, log management, vulnerability testing, and similar.

* Research and implement internal software or hardware solutions to ensure proper security protection measures are achieved.

* Works with executive management and company directors to determine acceptable levels of information security risk for Certify Global.

* Manages and maintains documents related to risk assessment, asset management, continual improvement scoring, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Review specifications, programming approach and requirements with senior staff
  • Write, analyze, test, debug, revise, and refine routine and moderately complex programs
  • Update and compile established programs while documenting changes and verifying results
  • Conduct quality assurance testing with sufficient diagnostics, verification, and documentation while establishing procedures to produce verifiable results
  • Perform routine data management activities, such as converting data to a SAAS platform, documentation of data, and data transfers
  • Communicate regularly to staff, project manager and senior staff members
  • Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications

  • Actively pursuing a programming, engineering or related degree or certification
  • Exposure in any of the following areas of programming and developer tools:
    • .NET
    • JAVA
    • C/C++ and Visual Studio
    • MS SQL Database and query languages
    • HTML
  • Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously

Marketing Intern

CERTIFY® is seeking a marketing intern who is creative, dynamic, a self-starter and eager to assist in our marketing efforts. This internship is an excellent opportunity to experience various aspects of marketing while working with a leader in biometric authentication.

The intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment, and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of marketing. We believe in an educationally enriching environment while supporting your development of practical, creative and analytical skills.

  • Contribute to marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives
  • Plan and organize promotional presentations and updating calendars
  • Help to prepare marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data
  • Keep promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with management
  • Support sales staff by helping to provide market trends, forecasts, and new product information
  • Research competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics
  • Plan meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading trade publications
